On July 22, 2021, the Korean Trade Commission made the final anti-dumping determination on stainless steel originating in Chinese Mainland, Indonesia and Taiwan, China. Among them, 23.69% to 25.82% in Chinese Mainland, 25.82% in Indonesia and 7.17% to 9.47% in Taiwan, China. The products involved do not include stainless steel coils with a thickness greater than 8mm and steel products in accordance with American Society for testing materials (ASTM) s31254 and N08367 standards.
On September 15, 2021, the Ministry of planning and finance of the Republic of Korea released the rules on imposing anti-dumping duties on stainless steel plate rolling in Chinese Mainland, Indonesia and Taiwan, China. Steel enterprises such as Shanxi TISCO, Angang Lianzhong, Indonesia Qingshan and Taiwan, China Yilian, which account for a large proportion of imports, will not levy anti-dumping duties because they have reached a price commitment, but will be taxed if they do not fulfill their export price commitments.
